About this game
WhatIfYours is an independent life simulation game grounded in statistics from 141 countries. Begin with a life shaped by chance, then fill it with choices, relationships and shared memories.
A life told in scenes
Meet family, choose what to say or do, and find traces of that day when you meet again. Four people born in the same second live alongside you. Choices and important encounters pause time; the days you remember return when someone leaves.
What stays with you
A toy repaired together. A meal after a hard day. A few words left for someone you lost. WhatIfYours is about making room for those moments as an ordinary life unfolds.
Statistics and sources
The game uses country-level inputs to shape the conditions of a fictional life. Separately, our data pages provide five official World Bank WDI indicators with source institutions, observation years, missing values and licenses. Game rules and estimates are labelled separately; the outcomes do not predict an individual’s life.
